Went to a meeting in Columbia TN and the drive was beautiful!

I had to go to a meeting in Columbia TN as the Community College in Columbia. Usually, from Jackson, I take 412 into Columbia. This time we were on a school van (9 of us) and we traveled I40 to State highway 50 and traveled Highway 50 to Columbia.

The weather was beautiful. It was breezy and the trees are turning colors. It was a wonderful drive.

The conference was on "Critical Thinking". As with any conference there were moments of interest and very boring moments. Each presenter had 15 minutes to preset a method of using Critical Thinking in the college enviornment. Counting the Keynote speaker, there were 12 presenters from 10:00 to 2:30 with a break for lunch.

The return to Jackson drive was also beautiful. The trees are really starting to turn and show colors.

I am SO excited that the leaves are finally changing colors! This is my favorite time of year ("Through autumn's golden gown we used to kick our way" - sad song, cool lyrics).
